FCA provides opportunities for athletes and coaches to maximize their God-given potential via comprehensive training that deals with athletic, spiritual, and leadership enhancement. Conducted in a camp setting, FCA training combines an athletic and a spiritual experience that permits athletes and coaches to take a break from their daily sport routines and focus on pursuing their own passion and Christ’s purpose for them. Types of FCA camps include the following:
- Coaches Camps. Weekend retreats, Bible studies, small groups, discipleship, and mentoring are among the activities that single and married coaches and their families can enjoy during Coaches Camps.
- Leadership Camps. These camps intend to help student-athletes, volunteer leaders, and Huddle Coaches in their spiritual growth through practical skills training and development. Attendees are provided with spiritual, organizational, and motivational tools during the camp.
- Power Camps. Also referred to as Youth Sports Camps, Power Camps are designed for 8-12-year-old kids. These sports-specific and multi-sport-focused day camps involve the local community in training and honing the skills of young athletes.
