In an effort to bolster the depth of its bench at the linebacker position, the Broncos signed Deiontrez Mount on November 15. A former sixth-round pick of the Tennessee Titans, Mount played four games with the team in 2015 and appeared in one game for the Indianapolis Colts in 2016. He had spent the first half of the 2017 season on the Broncos' practice squad. The 6-foot-5, 253-pound outside linebacker played four seasons of college football with the University of Louisville from 2011 to 2014. He accumulated 81 total tackles, 18 of which were for a loss of yardage, and nine quarterback sacks.
Additionally, the Broncos rounded out its practice squad by signing tight end Brian Parker and re-signing wide receiver Tim Patrick. An alumnus of the University of Utah, Patrick recorded 711 yards receiving and five touchdowns as a senior in 2016. Parker, meanwhile, played four seasons with the University of Albany, where he recorded a combined 1,006 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He also played nine games with the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs.
