RMSER works to offer education, job training, and employment opportunities to underserved people in Colorado.
For close to 40 years, the grassroots group has served as a conduit for federal grants and other resources that help low-income and unemployed individuals and families. Today, it works with several thousand families in conjunction with programs directed to migrants, farmworkers, youth, and other often-marginalized communities.
In recent news, RMSER solidified a partnership with the Moffat County School District to expand Head Start education in the area. The new collaboration, announced in 2017, will enable dozens of new seats in Head Start classes to open up, with RMSER providing facilities support and the school district handling the early education component. RMSER has served the early childhood education needs of families through its own Head Start programs since 1984.
